     In addition to being academically successful, the ideal candidate is passionate about their interests, whatever they may be.  He or she is constantly seeking to do better and to be better and is fearless in embracing new challenges.

     Only curious people need apply! The successful Spectrum applicant is not only willing to take risks in his or her learning, but is also adept at independent problem-solving.  When problems do arise, they don't give up; they work harder.



 

A LEADER

 

   The Spectrum program is ideal for confident self-starters who are able to demonstate strong leadership both inside and outside of the classroom.  They are mature and articulate communicators. These are the "doers" of the classroom; they don't sit around and wait...they're the ones making things happen!

     The successful Spectrum candidate recognizes the importance of collaboration.  He or she is willing to interact positively with people in all walks of life and is committed to helping to build a positive, supportive and safe community both inside and outside of the classroom.

 

 

SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES TO THE PROGRAM ARE OUTSTANDING IN BOTH ATTITUDE AND IN EFFORT. THE SPECTRUM TEAM EXPECTS ALL STUDENTS IN THE PROGRAM TO BE COMMITTED TO THE IDEA OF MODELLING THE SCHOOL PHILOSOPHY OF "CARE AND RESPECT" IN THEIR WORDS AND THEIR ACTIONS.
